COACHES TRAINING - Free

We are making some modifications to enhance our coaches training sessions this year. Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 1. Attending training will benefit you and your players, even if you are an "experienced" coach.

Two sessions will be offered with a slightly different format than last year.  Please RSVP by Monday, February 24th to your club's manager if you would like to attend one or both sessions.  Sessions will be held at Rainier Vista Park in Lacey and are open to all TCYSA coaches.

9:00 - 11:30  Novice Coaches

This session will focus on skills for novice coaches including setting up your field, keeping kids engaged, managing parents, addressing referees, and soccer skills, games and drills.  All coaches are welcome regardless of experience level.

12:00 - 2:30  Experienced Coaches

This session will be the first in a series of three offered this year that will be geared to more experienced coaches. The focus will be on developing coaching skills and helping player's grow and develop.  These clinics will build on each other rather than repeating the same information each session.  All coaches are welcome to attend.
