Safety reminders

Last updated 2021-06-15

Thank you for a great start to the Spring recreational soccer season. Now that we are back from Spring break, TCYSA would like to remind everyone about our safety requirements. Coaches, volunteers and spectators must wear masks at all times while attending games. Players are able to remove their masks while actively playing during a game. Players must wear masks at all other times. We also ask that everyone continue to follow safety protocols about prescreening prior to participating and minimizing pre and post game contact. Please help us have a safe and enjoyable season by following all TCYSA safety and sideline policies. We will continue to provide notice if there are any further updates to these safety requirements. Finally, TCYSA acknowledges that we are suffering from a shortage of referees which has left some games without any officials. We are doing our best to work with the referee association to cover as many games as possible. If you are interested in becoming a referee, there is a training clinic on May 1 in Tumwater. Visit www.thurstoncountysoccer.com for more information about the referee clinic and TCYSA’s safety and sideline policies.
