TCYSA Board Volunteers needed

TCYSA is looking for volunteers to fill some vacant Board positions. We need volunteers to serve unexpired terms for the following slots:

Treasurer – term expires May 2023

The Treasurer works closely with TCYSA’s Bookkeeper to manage all TCYSA funds and prepare the TCYSA budget.

Director of Development – term expires May 2023

The Director of Development coordinates player and coach development and training opportunities and coordinates with the Referee Assignor and referee association to develop referees.

The time commitment varies for these positions. The Board meets every other month for about two hours and each of these positions requires some time and effort between meetings. The Treasurer generally needs to coordinate monthly with the Bookkeeper to review documents and sign checks. The Director of Development is responsible for coordinating training opportunities particularly prior to the start of the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

If you are interested in filling one of these positions on the TCYSA Board, please contact Board President, Candice Bock at president@thurstoncountysoccer.com.

Some of our member Clubs are also looking for volunteers to serve on their Boards. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact your local Club to see if they have any vacancies. You can find links to our member Clubs on the TCYSA website.

Additionally, several Board positions will be open and up for election in May. We will need volunteers to serve as Director of Competition, Secretary, and First Vice President. If you are interested in any of these positions, please contact Candice Bock at president@thurstoncountysoccer.com.
