TCYSA is looking for volunteers to fill positions that will be open for election in May.
Director of Competition – two year term June 2023 – June 2025
The Director of Competition leads and coordinates each recreational season including tracking team performance in leagues and competitions to assess team strength and competitiveness. The position also manages disciplinary response when issues arise and makes recommendations to the Board on the rules and organization of league competition.
President – two year term June 2023 – June 2025
The President oversees the affairs of the Association according to the direction of the Board. The President establishes meeting agendas and presides over meetings of Board and represents the Association at Washington Youth Soccer meetings.
The time commitment varies for these positions. The Board meets every other month for about two hours and each of these positions requires time and effort between meetings. The Director of Competition is very involved in overseeing the recreation seasons and spends significant time during each season responding to coaches and managing issues that may arise. The President oversees the work of the Club Manager and Bookkeeper throughout the year.
